Soup Week 4 - Chicken Soup

It's very cold ~ perfect weather for a bowl of chicken soup. On the side is a chunk of chickpea and cumin focaccia. This is the fourth of 52 pots of soup, one for each week in 2010.















Local ingredients in this soup include:
Chicken (thanks Susan!)
Homemade chicken stock
Carrots, onions and dill
(Last night we ate it with homemade noodles, too.)
In the bread, Saskatchewan chickpeas, cumin and salt
